BGC Contracting Pty Ltd had been awarded a mining contract with Windimurra Vanadium Ltd. The work is scheduled to commence in August 2008 and is estimated to be worth $100M over 5 years. The scope involves the drill & blast, load and haul, crusher feed, wet and dry tailings removal and the plant and equipment maintenance at the Windimurra Vanadium mine, which is located 600 km NE of Perth and 80 km East of Mt. Magnet.
