Our CHARTER

All great organisations have a constitution or 'rules of the game' by which they conduct business. At BGC Contracting we call this our CHARTER, which provides guidelines for all employees.

The CHARTER represents who we are and what we stand for. It guides us all in our decision making and how we deal with each other. Every BGC Contracting employee has been inducted into this CHARTER. The CHARTER is displayed in all our offices and crib rooms. It is also printed on a folded 4 sided credit card size format, is readily available and is distributed to everyone.

Our Vision - "Excel together"

Visioning is an evolutionary process, we do it every day. The vision statement represents a snapshot of our vision for the future and the vision was created after input from everyone at BGC and consideration of many other visions that were proposed. The vision we finally adopted was "Excel together". Excel expresses our aspirations for superior performance and surpassing the performance of others in our field. Together can mean two people, a team, our clients, suppliers, shareholders, sub-contractors in other words all stakeholders. Together therefore perfectly reflects our core values and our Code of Behaviour.
